"Emerging from a post-pandemic haze, Thom, Tara, and Evan
made a cathartic return to the Seattle music scene in a form true to its
namesake—Brat."

Seattle-based band Brat - featuring Thom Strub, Tara Sloan, and Evan LeSure - is fresh off the release of their latest album, Welcome Back.
"You said that you and I were as real as you can feel
And you could never tell a lie and you don't know what tomorrow is
If you think it's worth it that's a chance you'll have to take
What would happen if you found a fake?" [Going, track 1 of Welcome Back]
Brat and their new album are a true reflection of the Pacific Northwest music scene, not just in sound and production, but in spirit. They embody what it means to make music and build community in this region. With Evan’s background in sound engineering at iconic venues like Neumos and The Showbox, Tara’s years of music exposure from her experience working at a Kansas record store, and Thom’s compelling songwriting, the music isn’t just something you hear-it’s something you feel.
Each member’s strengths shine through and work together throughout album, creating a sound that’s as honest as it is unforgettable.

We’re stoked to have a band like Brat representing the Northwest. Catch them live at Mosswood Lofts on May 30th and at Star Brass Works on June 28th. If you’re in the area, don’t miss the chance to experience their energy in person!
In the meantime, you can find their album Welcome Back here.
