Blessing in Disguise Music Festival: Spokane's Biggest New Music Event Has Arrived

Spokane is taking a major step onto the Pacific Northwest festival map this summer with the debut of Blessing in Disguise Music Festival, a brand-new one-day event transforming the North Bank district into a four-stage celebration of music, art, food, and community. Held across ONE Spokane Stadium, The Podium, and surrounding streets, the festival brings together nationally recognized headliners, rising artists, and Pacific Northwest favorites for what organizers hope becomes a new annual tradition.

The lineup is led by PNW icon, Macklemore, alongside AJR. The star-studded lineup also features performances from AWOLNATION, Spokane's own Allen Stone, Mother Mother, Everclear, and a diverse supporting bill featuring artists like Chinese American Bear, The Jaws of Brooklyn, Stephen Day, Ayron Jones, Tim Montana, Vienna Vienna, and more.

One of the festival's biggest strengths is its location. Instead of being tucked away at a fairground or campground, the event is built directly into downtown Spokane. Four stages are spread between ONE Spokane Stadium, The Podium, and outdoor street stages, making it easy to move between performances while staying connected to local restaurants, breweries, and the surrounding city. The festival grounds are also expected to feature local vendors, food trucks, art installations, and community activations throughout the day. It's a true Downtown Spokane installation.

With music beginning in the afternoon and continuing into the evening, attendees can catch a full day of performances before a late-night DJ set from Hippie Sabotage keeps the energy going after the main festival wraps up.

More than just another concert, Blessing in Disguise represents an exciting moment for Spokane's growing music scene. The festival was created through a partnership between the Spokane Public Facilities District and Live Nation with the goal of bringing a large-scale music festival back to the city while celebrating Spokane's resilience and creative community.
