Quintessential Northwest Listening: Richy Mitch and the Coal Miners kick off their Apres Ski tour run in Spokane

Based in Seattle, WA, Richy Mitch and the Coal Miners are hitting the road for their Apres Ski Tour, which hits Spokane, Missoula, Bozeman, as well as cities near the mountains in CO, UT, and Wyoming. 

You don’t have to be a skier to enjoy the afterparty RMCM is throwing. Coming off of the release of their latest album Colorado’s On Fire Again, the indie folk bands vibe and atmosphere was felt this weekend in Missoula & Spokane.

Having the privilege to attend their sold out show in Missoula, their set broughy a special energy to the city. Having had lived in Bozeman for few years, you can tell the group has a deep appreciation for the atmosphere.

If you're a fan of one of their most popular songs Lake Missoula, you were in for a treat on Saturday. With an already energetic crowd, hearing the crowd scream out Lake Missoula, I'm letting you out with the band was an unforgettable experience. Other hits like Evergreen and Lucerne were crowd favorites, and wrapped up the show on a high note.

They also featured some of their songs from their latest release, starting with Barry Herman, and toward the end of the set Santiago. I definitely would have loved to hear more from this album, but they had a good balance of old and new songs the kept the crowd engaged.

Many cities are sold out, so if you don’t want to miss the best Apres Ski this winter, act fast!
